Position:

Equipment Operator i-80 Gold Corp is seeking a candidate to fill the position of Equipment Operator for our Granite Creek site. This position requires safe and efficient operation of one or more processes to achieve defined operating targets. These processes may include hauling, equipment operation, and screening.

Getchell Mine Road, Golconda NV Responsibilities:

High School Diploma or GED preferred Operation of one or more pieces of equipment Monitoring equipment performance Change between multiple pieces of equipment each shift Demonstrating effective safety leadership within a team environment and promoting environmental awareness in all work or task related duties Ensuring required documentation, logs, and reports are up to date and complete Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in work areas Conduct training and provide mentorship to new hires Working with and assisting the maintenance team (as required) to ensure equipment is in optimal operating condition to avoid unnecessary downtime or delays Promptly informing co-workers and supervisors of any recognized safety or operational issues Working with co-workers in a friendly and respectful manner Performing other duties as requiredQualifications Prior mining experience strongly preferred Skilled ability as an equipment operator preferred Experience operating forklifts and/or mobile equipment The ability to work both day shifts and night shifts Able to work independently and complete task with minimal supervision Prior haul truck experience preferred.
