This apprenticeship position is associated with specialized portable aggregate crushing operations conducted within MSHA-regulated mining environments at the Sequoia II Project crushing site. The role supports production activities involving mobile crushing systems, aggregate processing, and material handling operations. Due to the safety-sensitive nature of the work environment, prior exposure to aggregate production or mobile crushing operations is required or strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities and Operational Functions Operation and support of portable crushing spread systems in an aggregate production environment Execution of aggregate processing activities, including material size reduction and classification Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment associated with mobile crushing operations Monitoring and management of conveyor systems and overall plant material flow Compliance with MSHA safety standards and adherence to all safety-sensitive operational procedures Operation and maintenance support of Kleemann MR130i EVO2 mobile crushing equipment Material handling, including loading, transport coordination, and stockpile management Assistance with preventative maintenance and general operational support of portable crusher systems Work Environment Requirements MSHA-regulated mining and aggregate production environment Safety-sensitive operational setting requiring strict adherence to regulatory and site-specific safety protocols Exposure to heavy industrial equipment and continuous production operations Requirement for prior familiarity with aggregate production or mobile crushing systems preferred
