Position Overview This is a skilled position requiring the individual to perform maintenance and repair of all company equipment, and assigned duties. This position will be primarily a lube technician position. During the slow season the tech will be required to work in the shop performing maintenance on trucks and equipment.
- This position requires working a combination of day and swing shifts, including weekends, travel, and frequent work outside of normal business hours.
- Wage Range: $25 to $30 per hour, dependent upon experience Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Primary responsibility will be performing preventative maintenance services on trucks and equipment.
- Operates and inspects machines or equipment to diagnose defects.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists and hand tools.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Services equipment as necessary.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Taking oil samples and keeping good records on equipment.
- Inspects welds, broken parts and structural members.
- Must be able to function in the role with minimal interaction or supervision much of the time.
- Must be able to work in PM programs such as Hexagon.
- Must be able to work in Timecard programs such as Workforce.
- Must be self-motivated
- Must be able to inspect and identify vehicles for DOT violations.
- Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One to two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
