Job Description

Coles Energy is currently searching for a Petroleum Service Technician to join our team. Some of the responsibilities include installation, start up, maintenance, inspection and calibration of fuel dispensing equipment, point of sale systems, tank gauging and monitoring systems, leak detection equipment, and fleet control systems. The right individual will have a strong work ethic and pays attention to detail, a strong mechanical and electrical/electronic background with computer experience, the ability to work independently or within a team environment, and excellent customer service skills. The position requires the ability to work outdoors year-round and work rotating on call weekends for emergencies. Two years of fuel or UST training required. Responsibilities
  • Determine material, equipment and supplies to be used on jobs
  • Transfer equipment from one project to another as necessary
  • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area
  • Reassembling and test equipment following repairs
  • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, unusual occurrences and repairs made and serve as backup in other areas of maintenance if needed and directed to by the Maintenance Manager. Qualifications
  • Additional experience and knowledge of Plumbing, Electrical, and general maintenance HIGHLY preferred
  • Ability to meet and deal tactfully & courteously with fellow employees, vendors and contractors
  • Valid State Driver's License and clean driving record.
