1099 Roadside Assistance Technician Now Hiring Independent Contractors (1099) We are seeking reliable and motivated Roadside Assistance Technicians with at least 6 months to 1 year of roadside service experience . If you have the tools, experience, and professionalism to assist stranded motorists, we want to hear from you. Job Duties Perform vehicle lockout services Fuel deliveries Jump-starts Tire changes Battery testing and battery installations Verify member information and breakdown location Communicate accurate ETAs to customers and dispatch Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude Compensation $25.00 - $50.00 per hour $1.00 per mile after the initial 10-mile service radius Battery installations: $35.00 per install plus customer tips Additional earning opportunities available based on service volume Minimum Requirements 6 months to 1 year of roadside assistance experience Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Smartphone with GPS and data service Ability to work independently and respond promptly to service calls Strong communication and customer service skills Required Equipment & Tools 2-ton floor jack 4-way lug wrench and/or impact and socket set 2-gallon fuel can Professional lockout kit ( Slim Jims are not permitted ) Jump box / battery booster pack
