We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Previous propane experience is helpful but not required—we're willing to train the right person. What You'll Do Assist licensed propane service technicians with residential and commercial service calls. Learn to install propane tanks, regulators, gas piping, and propane appliances. Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot propane systems. Assist with gas leak investigations and emergency service calls. Learn how to safely pressure test and leak test propane systems. Complete appliance installations including furnaces, boilers, water heaters, fireplaces, generators, cook stoves, dryers, and space heaters. Help inspect propane equipment to ensure compliance with state, federal, and company safety standards. Maintain accurate service paperwork and electronic work orders. Stock and organize service trucks with parts, fittings, and materials. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Participate in after-hours emergency service rotation once fully trained. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift 75 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Comfortable working around heights, confined spaces, and excavation work when necessary. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to obtain a Vermont propane service license and other required certifications. Preferred Qualifications HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, construction, or propane experience. CDL or willingness to obtain one. CETP certifications (preferred but not required).
