Job Responsibilities:

Operate logging equipment safely and efficiently, including but not limited to feller bunchers, skidders, and chippers. Perform mastication and fuel reduction work to mitigate fire risks during the summer season. Engage in fire mitigation activities, ensuring safe and effective operations in challenging conditions. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety protocols and regulations on job sites. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time and to specifications. Willingness to travel to various job sites, especially during the fire season.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating logging equipment is required. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations in the logging industry. Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and adaptable to changing environments. Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic. Valid driver's license and good driving record. Willingness to travel for work during the summer fire season.
