Job Type Full-time Description $27/Hour + Overtime | Lead a Crew | Paid Travel | Career Advancement Full-Time | Travel Approximately 2 Weeks at a Time | All Travel Expenses Paid Are you an experienced crew leader who enjoys working in the field rather than behind a desk? Hulcher Resources is seeking a motivated Assistant Manager to lead a small field crew while performing hands-on industrial cleaning and material transfer projects throughout the agriculture and industrial industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience leading crews in construction, agriculture, industrial maintenance, heavy equipment, grain handling, railroad, utilities, or similar industries who is looking for long-term career growth.

What You'll Do:
As an Assistant Manager, you'll lead a crew of 4-5 confined space-trained technicians while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Responsibilities include: Lead, supervise, and mentor a field crew during industrial cleaning operations. Perform grain bin and silo cleaning using specialized vacuum systems and cleaning equipment. Conduct material transfer operations using industrial vacuum equipment. Enter confined spaces to clean bins, silos, and industrial vessels. Work at elevated heights when required. Coordinate daily job assignments and monitor crew productivity. Ensure all safety procedures and OSHA regulations are followed. Conduct jobsite safety briefings and maintain required documentation. Inspect equipment and report maintenance needs. Communicate with customers and management regarding project progress. Assist with training and developing new employees. Requirements We're seeking someone who leads by example, enjoys working alongside their team, and thrives in physically demanding environments.
Preferred Experience:
Crew Lead, Foreman, or Assistant Supervisor Agriculture or Grain Handling Construction Industrial Services Heavy Equipment Railroad Industrial Maintenance Vacuum Truck Operations Utilities Manufacturing
Qualifications:
Previous experience leading or supervising field crews. Comfortable performing hands-on physical work. Able to work in confined spaces and at elevated heights. Comfortable traveling for extended periods. Strong communication and leadership skills. Valid driver's license required. Class B CDL preferred (additional compensation available for CDL holders). Experience operating vacuum trucks or industrial equipment is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position requires working in challenging industrial environments, including: Grain elevators and storage facilities Industrial plants Outdoor jobsites in all weather conditions Confined spaces Elevated work areas Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including respirators, hard hats, gloves, hearing protection, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots.
