Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lease Operator/Pumper to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of oil and gas production equipment on the lease site. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant handling of hydrocarbons, supporting the overall productivity of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with heavy equipment, pipeline systems, and mechanical processes in a fast-paced environment dedicated to energy development and resource management. Responsibilities Operate and monitor oil rig equipment, including pumps, tanks, and associated machinery to optimize production flow. Conduct routine inspections of pipelines, tanks, and related infrastructure to identify leaks, corrosion, or mechanical issues. Manage the safe handling and transfer of oil & gas products using tanker trucks, forklifts, excavators, cranes, and other heavy machinery. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as pumps, rigging gear, and mechanical systems to prevent downtime. Follow OSHA safety standards diligently during all operations; maintain compliance with industry regulations for construction sites and oilfield operations. Assist with horizontal drilling activities and support pipeline integrity checks to ensure environmental safety. Document operational data accurately; complete shift reports, incident logs, and maintenance records for regulatory compliance. Qualifications Prior experience working on an oil rig or in heavy construction site environments is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to pumps, rigging, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment is essential. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement required for transporting oil & gas products. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards applicable to oilfield operations and construction sites. Hands-on experience with pipeline systems, horizontal drilling techniques, and tankers is advantageous. Ability to operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly. $29.00 - $35.00 per hour
