Workover Rig Operator

Everyone has a story and we treat everybody as family. Come join our team. As a Workover Rig Operator at Harley Drilling you will be an important member of the team. You will lead with a crew of team members on a service rig to service and plug oil and gas wells. Key tasks and skills are accountability, initiative, the ability to work well in teams, and the ability to lift heavy objects. Previous experience is required as is the ability to learn new techniques and processes. Duties Operate workover rigs along with support equipment such as mud pumps, excavators, and dozers to perform well servicing activities. Conduct rig up and down operations safely for servicing and plugging wells. Maintain detailed records of all operations, including safety checks, equipment usage, and maintenance logs in compliance with company standards. Perform routine mechanical inspections of rigging gear, hydraulic systems, and other machinery to prevent malfunctions or accidents. Follow all safety protocols related to construction site activities, heavy equipment operation, and transportation equipment. Any other task required to be a valuable team member. Experience Proven experience operating a service rigs or in oil & gas field operations with a focus on workover activities. Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including rigs, excavators, dozers, and trucks. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to oilfield machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
