Flexible, Hybrid About Spray & Pray Spray & Pray Lawn Care Services is an Orlando-based Lawn & Ornamental treatment company focused on professional fertilization, weed control, insect management, and turf health programs for residential and commercial clients. We are currently seeking an active Florida Certified Pest Control Operator in the Lawn & Ornamental category to serve as the company's qualifying operator and compliance resource. Position Overview This position is intended to serve as the company's qualifying operator and compliance consultant. This is not a route technician, sales, branch management, or daily operations role. The selected individual will provide regulatory oversight, compliance guidance, and periodic operational review in accordance with Florida laws and regulations governing Lawn & Ornamental pest control operations. The company has an internal operator-development plan in place. This engagement is intended to provide qualifying operator oversight while internal personnel complete experience requirements and professional development milestones. Primary Responsibilities Serve as the qualifying operator for the business Provide compliance oversight and regulatory guidance Review and approve treatment standards and service protocols Assist with product selection and application guidance when necessary Support training and best practices related to compliance and safety Be reasonably available for licensing and regulatory matters Conduct periodic reviews of company operations and records as required This Role Does Not Include Daily route work Routine lawn applications Customer acquisition or sales responsibilities Employee scheduling Customer service management Daily operational management Full-time office presence Qualifications Active Florida Certified Pest Control Operator license Lawn & Ornamental category certification required Strong understanding of Florida Lawn & Ornamental regulations Knowledge of product labels, treatment standards, and regulatory compliance Professional communication and leadership skills Preferred Previous branch management or operational leadership experience Experience serving as a qualifying operator Interest in supporting the growth of a professionally managed Lawn & Ornamental company Compensation Fixed monthly retainer of $1,500 15-month contract term Flexible schedule Independent contractor (1099) arrangement Compliance and oversight-focused engagement To Apply Please submit: Resume License information Relevant Lawn & Ornamental experience Brief summary of your experience serving in compliance, oversight, or qualifying operator capacities
