Job Description

Skid Steer Mulcher Operator Coal Club - Brookwood, Alabama Coal Club is a private, destination golf club currently under development in Brookwood, Alabama. Set across reclaimed mining land, the property features dramatic terrain and a one-of-a-kind landscape that is being carefully restored and shaped into a walking-focused golf experience. We are seeking an experienced Skid Steer Mulcher Operator to join our team and play a key role in the continued development of the property. Position Summary The Skid Steer Mulcher Operator will be responsible for operating equipment to clear brush, trees, and overgrowth across the property. This role requires precision, awareness of terrain, and the ability to work efficiently while protecting the integrity of the land and surrounding features. Key Responsibilities Operate skid steer with forestry mulching attachment safely and efficiently Clear designated areas including fairways, corridors, and natural areas Work closely with project leadership to execute clearing plans Maintain awareness of terrain, drainage, and course features during operation Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Follow all safety procedures and site guidelines
Qualifications Required:
Proven experience operating skid steer loaders with mulching attachments in construction or land clearing projects. Strong understanding of land clearing and vegetation management Ability to operate equipment on uneven and rugged terrain Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Strong work ethic and pride in quality of work Compensation & Schedule $20-$24 per hour, based on experience 30-35 hours per week Opportunity for advancement as the project continues to grow About Coal Club Coal Club is being developed as a private retreat where golf, landscape, and hospitality come together in a way that feels both timeless and entirely new.
