The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to support our automotive recycling facility. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work efficiently in a team environment while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including excavators, wheel loaders and other smaller equipment to complete various tasks. Perform crushing operations, car handling and relocating and car dismantling. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Skills Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as excavators and wheel loaders. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and coordination. Attention to detail with a commitment to safety practices on the job site.
