Job Description

Rogers Group Inc. is currently seeking a Stockpile Loader Operator at our Lacey's Spring Quarry in Lacey's Spring, AL, part of the Alabama SMA, reporting to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead safety, quality, and revenue generation throughout our existing operations and additional operations through growth.
Job Details:
Wages dependent on verifiable experience 1 st Shift (6:00AM-3:00PM) Fulltime/Permanent Weekend work may be required Overtime available along with medical and retirement benefits
Job Responsibilities:
Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery. Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency Properly follow all company policies and
OSHA / MSHA
/ environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Uncompromising focus on safety excellence. 1+ years of experience operating wheel loader preferred. Previous Quarry experience preferred. Able to do safety and maintenance inspections throughout the day. Capable of demonstrating equipment and troubleshooting knowledge. Experience working with crushers, conveyors and screens preferred. Ability to understand basic safety and work instruction. Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. Good organizational, scheduling and time management skills. Welding experience is helpful along with general maintenance and repair abilities. Experience in heavy equipment operation a is plus but not required. Team player mentality Working outdoors in varied weather conditions with the probability of dust, noise, heat, and cold.
