Heavy Equipment Operator

Duties Skillfully operate heavy machinery such as dozers, excavators, and other construction equipment to perform grading, digging, lifting, and material handling tasks Conduct pre-operation inspections on all equipment to ensure safety standards are met and perform routine maintenance as needed. Assist with site preparation by clearing land and leveling surfaces. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and site operations for accountability and reporting purposes. Follow all safety guidelines rigorously to prevent accidents and promote a secure work environment. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, excavators, and similar machinery on active construction sites. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment systems and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and regulations.

Pay:

$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
