Up to 20 hours weekly Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Vance, AL. This role blends heavy equipment operator responsibilities with general warehouse support to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors, and candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions including rain, snow, and heat. Applicants must have experience operating Bulldozers, Front-End Loaders, and Excavators , as these are essential to the Heavy Equipment Operator role. Primary Duties Operate front-end loaders and dozers to prepare and mix organic materials Maintain consistent material flow to production lines Perform pre-shift inspections, light maintenance, and end-of-shift cleaning Monitor stockpiles for moisture and temperature control Accurately track and submit load tickets for inventory Safely refuel equipment and follow all safety protocols Mix products and additives according to production specifications Conduct daily safety checks and fluid inspections on forklifts Supply packaging lines with empty pallets and monitor inventory levels Perform general warehouse upkeep, including sweeping, shoveling, restacking pallets, inventory counts, and manual material handling Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating front-end loaders and dozers (required) Ability to perform physical labor in varying weather conditions Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to assist in multiple warehouse tasks
