Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Driver (CDL-A) - First Responder Blue Hill Towing & Recovery | Central Arkansas Blue Hill Towing & Recovery is hiring an experienced Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Driver (CDL-A) for a first-responder, emergency response position . This role requires professionalism, accountability, and the ability to respond immediately when on duty. This is not an entry-level CDL position and not a 9-5 job. Job Overview Heavy-duty towing and recovery (tractor-trailers, buses, heavy equipment) Accident recovery, winching, uprighting, and emergency roadside response Working directly with law enforcement, DOT, and emergency services Safe operation and care of company-owned heavy-duty equipment Accurate job documentation and reporting Minimum Requirements (Must Meet All) Valid CDL Class A Minimum 2 years of current, verifiable CDL driving experience Clean MVR Ability to pass background check and drug screening Strong safety awareness and mechanical aptitude Professional communication and appearance Heavy-duty towing or recovery experience is strongly preferred. On-Call & Response Expectations This is a first-responder position Drivers rotate scheduled on-call and duty assignments When on call or on duty, immediate response is required Nights, weekends, holidays, and after-hours responses are part of the job Reliability and accountability are mandatory Pay, Benefits & Equipment On-target earnings average $120,000 per year , based on workload and performance Commission-based compensation with strong earning potential Comprehensive benefits package Top-of-the-line, well-maintained heavy-duty equipment Steady heavy-duty call volume Family-owned company with a strong professional reputation No micromanagement—do the job right and be trusted to do it
