POSITION SUMMARY

The Loader Operator operates the front end loader and other heavy equipment for our underground crews. This positions plays a critical role in the success of our projects!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Effectively, skillfully, safely, and accurately operates a front end loader and other construction equipment Completes proper equipment inspections prior to use to ensure that it is in proper operating condition Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations Meet production goals from the direction of the site Foreman or Superintendent Signals directions and warnings to crew members at the work site Works with crew members when not operating equipment Performs other duties as required and assigned Adheres to all DCS Contracting safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years' experience operating front end loaders required or equivalent combination of experience and training/education Knowledgeable of OSHA standards and requirements Able to work outside in all weather conditions Willingness to learn and accept direction from field supervision Must be a team player and be willing to help out wherever is needed for the success of the project Safety first mindset, MUST stop work if something is unsafe Reliable transportation and work schedule flexibility Ability to get the job done with minimal supervision This is a Safety Sensitive position.
