Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced dump truck driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and safety compliance. Your expertise will contribute directly to the successful completion of large-scale projects, supporting excavation, paving, and site development activities. This position offers an energetic environment where your skills in heavy equipment operation and construction site experience will be highly valued. Duties Safely operate dump trucks and other heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, water trucks, backhoes, and tankers to move materials efficiently across construction sites Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are maintained Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate machinery like loaders or excavators when necessary Follow all safety protocols and construction site regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to plan routes and schedules for material transportation Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and operational activities for record-keeping purposes Support other construction activities or paving tasks as needed Skills Proven experience operating dump trucks in a construction setting with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations Mechanical knowledge to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on heavy equipment including Caterpillar machinery and other heavy-duty vehicles Skilled in operating excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks. Extensive construction site experience with familiarity in various construction processes such as paving and site development Ability to operate specialized machinery like caterpillar graders or water trucks with precision and safety awareness Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including loader operation, grader operation, dozer handling, and backhoe use Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments Join our team if you're ready to bring your expertise in heavy equipment operation into a lively construction environment!
