In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to shape, level, and prepare construction sites for various projects. Your expertise will help ensure that site grading and earthmoving tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to precise specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of equipment and contribute to large-scale infrastructure development. Responsibilities Operate grading equipment such as graders, bulldozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling machines to perform site preparation and grading tasks. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance before and during operation. Follow project plans and specifications to achieve accurate grading levels and slopes. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment across the site. Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and any issues encountered during operations. Adhere strictly to safety protocols and environmental regulations while operating heavy machinery on construction sites. Assist with other construction activities such as paving, tanker operations, or site cleanup as needed. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including graders, dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drills. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license with experience driving large vehicles such as dump trucks or water trucks. Construction site experience with familiarity in grading, paving, or earthmoving projects. Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) equipment is highly desirable. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
