In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support site development, infrastructure improvements, and commercial construction activities. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery while maintaining a proactive approach to safety and operational excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical skills and contribute to impactful construction endeavors. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Safely operate trucks including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials across the job site. Manage specialized equipment like concrete mixers and farm machinery to support various construction activities. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Collaborate with the construction team to execute site plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines. Maintain accurate operation logs, equipment maintenance records, and safety documentation throughout each shift. Assist in setting up construction sites by preparing machinery for operation and ensuring all safety measures are in place. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, excavators, backhoes, cranes, and other relevant machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and procedures. Valid commercial driver's license with experience driving heavy trucks including dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, tanker trucks, and front loader trucks. Ability to operate specialized equipment like concrete mixers and farm machinery effectively. Knowledge of Caterpillar (CAT) equipment or similar brands is preferred but not required.
