Responsibilities Operate heavy machinery including backhoes, excavators, and skid steers accordance with safety standards. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. Assist in site preparation activities, including grading, excavation, and clearing. Transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites as required. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to coordinate workflows and maximize efficiency. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and policies to maintain a safe work environment. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus. CDL Class A License Working Operator Proven experience operating heavy machinery in a construction environment. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to heavy equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret project plans effectively. Excellent physical stamina and strength to perform labor-intensive tasks. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to adapt to changing conditions and follow instructions diligently. Ability to travel and stay overnight at project sites when needed.
