The ideal candidate will have experience in excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation while following all safety regulations and company procedures. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and land clearing work Inspect machinery before and after operation Follow safety standards and job site procedures Load and move materials as needed Work with construction crews and supervisors to complete projects efficiently Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues Read site plans and follow project instructions Requirements Previous experience operating excavators or heavy machinery Valid driver's license (CDL preferred) Knowledge of construction site safety regulations Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions Strong teamwork and communication skills Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods Certification for heavy equipment operation is a plus Preferred Skills GPS machine control experience Experience with trenching and grading Basic mechanical knowledge Employment Type Full-Time Schedule Monday to Friday Overtime available Salary Competitive pay based on experience Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Overtime opportunities Career growth opportunities Work Location Construction sites / field work If you'd like, I can also help you create: a professional job advertisement a short hiring post for Facebook or Indeed a resume description or a full company job posting template
