Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A Commercial Driver to safely transport heavy equipment to and from customer sites, job locations, and company branches. This role is critical to ensuring timely and secure deliveries while upholding safety and compliance standards.Key Responsibilities:
Operate company vehicles (tractor-trailers, flatbeds) to transport heavy equipment or materials. Load, secure, and unload equipment and freight using appropriate tie-downs, chains, and safety gear. Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery tickets, inspection forms, and mileage records per DOT regulations. Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies while on the road and at job sites. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and internal teams regarding delivery status and issues. Ensure timely and professional delivery and pick-up of equipment. Assist in minor maintenance or cleaning of assigned vehicle. Comply with all company, local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving and hazardous materials (if applicable).Qualifications:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) Minimum of 1 year experience operating Class A commercial vehicles (preferred experience hauling heavy equipment or flatbeds). Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) and DOT medical card. Knowledge of DOT regulations and logbook/e-log use. Ability to lift 50 lbs., climb on/off trailers, and work in various weather conditions. Familiarity with load securement techniques and rigging a plus. Strong time-management and communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Why You'll Love Working Here:
