Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving and forklift operation. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while delivering goods to various job locations. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo. This position also requires physical labor as you will be expected to assist the construction crews as needed with loading and unloading of materials. Responsibilities Operate and drive medium-duty truck-trailer vehicles to transport landscape construction goods between locations (not to exceed 33,000 lbs). Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, utilizing forklifts when necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies. Follow designated routes while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Communicate effectively with crew leaders and administrative staff. Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules without compromising safety. Loading and unloading of various materials and construction waste manually as needed. Physical labor as needed to assist construction crews. (walking, lifting, kneeling, pulling, etc.) Requirements Valid Commercial Class B Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles for a minimum of 5 years. Ability to operate forklifts and trailers for loading and unloading cargo safely, ability to lift 50 lbs. Strong knowledge of route driving principles and navigation skills. Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Commitment to safety protocols and regulations in all driving activities. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies. Enrollment in a consortium is required.
