In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks to assist stranded or disabled vehicles, ensuring prompt and professional service to our customers. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and customer service will be essential in providing efficient roadside assistance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where safety, reliability, and excellent communication are key to success. Duties Operate light-duty tow trucks, including flatbed models, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as dollies or forklifts when necessary Perform basic automotive diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs on-site to assist with vehicle issues when applicable Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally Maintain accurate records of all towing activities, including logs of vehicle pickups, drop-offs, and service details Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving and operating tow equipment to ensure a secure work environment Assist with conflict management by handling difficult situations calmly and professionally during roadside emergencies Experience Prior experience operating tow trucks or similar commercial driving vehicles is preferred Mechanical knowledge of automotive systems, including manual transmissions and automotive repair basics Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving license (CDL) is advantageous but not mandatory Experience with forklift operation or other loading equipment is beneficial Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively under pressure Knowledge of load & unload procedures for various vehicle types and familiarity with flatbed towing equipment Join our team if you're passionate about helping others on the road!
