Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Excavator Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy-duty excavators to assist in various construction projects, ensuring efficient and safe site operations. Your expertise will help us meet project deadlines while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, contribute to building infrastructure, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. Pay $24-$28 an hour Paid Weekly Monday through Saturday In Person Interviews with Head Manager Excavator experience Must Speak Spanish Duties Operate excavators safely and efficiently to perform digging, trenching, lifting, and material handling tasks according to project specifications Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute excavation activities Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly Follow all construction workplace safety regulations, including implementation of OSHA safety standards and use of personal protective equipment such as respiratory protection and climbing gear Coordinate with team members and supervisors to plan excavation sequences and ensure smooth workflow on-site Use power tools and manual handling techniques for site preparation and cleanup tasks Adhere strictly to safety regulations related to heavy lifting, climbing, respiratory protection, and other hazardous activities Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings for precise excavation work Strong mechanical knowledge of excavator components and troubleshooting procedures Deep understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA standards Ability to handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling with care and precision Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors Knowledge of power tools used in construction environments Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately to execute complex excavation tasks effectively Join our team as an Excavator Operator if you're passionate about construction, committed to safety, and eager to contribute your expertise toward building a better future!
