The ideal candidate will have strong experience operating backhoes and excavators safely and efficiently on construction and excavation projects.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience operating backhoes and excavators Ability to read and follow site plans and grade stakes Knowledge of trenching, grading, excavation, and utility work Strong understanding of equipment safety and daily maintenance procedures Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must provide professional references
Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with underground utilities CDL is a must OSHA certifications are a plus
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience Overtime opportunities available
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour
