Job Description
Equipment Operator / Foreman 970 Excavation, Inc is hiring an equipment operator for civil construction that can safely and efficiently operate various types of construction equipment including but not limited to Loaders, dozers, Track Hoes, Rollers, Etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate equipment safely and efficiently 1. Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading 2. Knowledge of trenching and shoring standards 3. Keep time and material records 4. May assist laborer at various job sites as needed. May perform physical tasks involved with laying pipe and utility lines, and/or tasks involved with foundation and trench excavationQualifications:
Previous heavy equipment operation experience is required. Must be able to calculate grade and know how to install/work on sewer and water.Skill Requirements:
1. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and emails/texts. Ability to write simple correspondence. 2. Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting. 3. Judgment- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment 4. Attendance/Punctuality
