Position Summary We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-focused Loader Operator to join our operations in Greeley, COI. This role involves operating a material handler (similar to an excavator), magnet or grapple crane to load, unload, and sort scrap materials. Key Responsibilities Load the feed hopper Load outbound FLUFF trucks Load containers and open top trucks with outbound materials Responsible for loading the correct materials Directs traffic and responsible for truck drivers delivering material to the correct bunkers Push up piles to keep all products and feed materials separate Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required. Prior experience operating heavy machinery or driving a semi-tractor/trailer is a plus — training will be provided. Basic machine maintenance knowledge is a bonus. Ability to lift 30-50 lbs independently and 100+ lbs with assistance. Why Join Alter?
