EXPECTED RESULTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS
Watch for oversize material or contamination in finished product piles. Load customer trucks with the correct material in the correct quantities. If in the pit, load raw material from the pit into the hopper at the desired production rate. Perform routine maintenance including machine cleanliness, daily service inspection, fueling, greasing, etc. Additional maintenance activities as required Help maintain a hazard free work environment by assisting in housekeeping and maintenance duties Includes cleanliness and upkeep of yard area Follow all safety policies, including MSHA and company regulations. Report safety hazards and create safety first culture Participate in safety meetings Other duties as assigned
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The primary areas of responsibility include: Plant Safety Operating Equipment Light Equipment Maintenance
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work 12 hour shifts and weekends if needed. Self motivated and able to work effectively in small teams Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Related industry experience a plus Experience operating heavy equipment in a plant environment preferred High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Only as needed Rate $24.50/hr and up
