HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR III
position. The primary function of the Heavy Equipment Operator III will be to operate machinery in connection with the construction, repair and maintenance of roads and right-of-ways within Washington County. An employee allocated to this position must be able to operate various types of heavy equipment to cover absences or provide relief to equalize peak work periods, or otherwise balance the work load.Minimum Training and Experience:
- Graduation from a standard high school or equivalent
- Must possess a valid Florida Class A CDL Driver's License
- Must be knowledgeable in general MOT standards and practices
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Knowledge of safe work practices associated with the prevention of injuries caused from inattention to occupational hazards of the trade
