Moving of raw materials from storage areas into feed hoppers as directed by plant supervisor or team leader. Must be able to distinguish various raw materials to avoid any cross-contamination. Locate product safely and efficiently. Must be able to read and understand various paperwork to accurately move various types of product and materials throughout the facility. Must be able to safely operate front-end loader, forklift, and dump trucks. Must complete a daily operator's checklist on the loader to which the operator is assigned. Able to work at heights, heavy lifting, capable of wearing a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses. Responsible for notifying supervisor with safety issues. Responsible for notifying supervisor of forklift operating issues, product storage issues, inventory restock issues, and inventory variances. Responsible for housekeeping at the unloading areas, plant receiving areas, and all associated grounds. Have basic knowledge and understanding of unloading information. Ability to work well with teams and alone. Inspect facility for maintenance issues; keep area clean and well maintained. Other duties as assigned. Must be willing to work weekends as needed.
