JOB SUMMARY
Bulk Environmental & Industrial is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator with experience loading vehicles. This role offers steady work on a fixed schedule from Monday to Saturday.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Load vehicles correctly and efficiently.
  • Perform and document daily inspections of the equipment.
  • Communicate and report to the Field Supervisor on breakdowns and operation needs.
  • Service, grease, and cleaning the machine on a daily basis.
  • Work with the scale system to put the maximum allowed weight on the vehicles.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience loading vehicles.
  • Experience operating Front End loader (CAT 950) and Grapple Excavator (Volvo EC220) or equivalent.
  • Be able to work the night shift if needed.
  • Must be able to communicate with Field supervisor, fleet manager, drivers, and client's representatives.
  • Follow thoroughly the safety rules and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work extra hours.
Physical Demands This job in a dynamic environment requires being sensitive to change and responsive to changing goals, priorities, and needs. Intermittently balancing, crouching, feeling, fingering, grasping, handling, hearing, lifting, mental acuity, pulling pushing, reaching, repetitive motion, speaking, talking, and visual acuity. Also requires heavy work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Working Conditions This job is located primarily in an outdoor environment with varying noise levels. There may be varying degrees of temperature. The employee will be exposed to strong smells and may be interrupted from time to time.
