Exquisite Pool & Spa is seeking an experienced and skilled Construction Excavator Operator to join our growing team in Florida. The ideal candidate has experience in excavation, understands site preparation, and prioritizes safety and precision. If you have a strong background in pool construction and heavy equipment operation, this is an excellent opportunity with a company that values quality, safety, and teamwork. Position Summary The Excavator Operator will play a critical role in pool construction projects, handling excavation, grading, trenching, and transporting materials and equipment. This position requires a skilled operator with at least 5 years of experience and the ability to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for pool excavation, grading, and backfilling Safely transport materials, machinery, and equipment Read and interpret construction plans, site layouts, and project specifications Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance Ensure job sites meet safety, quality, and compliance standards Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and crew members to complete projects on time Maintain a clean and organized work environment Qualifications Minimum 5 years of construction equipment operating experience in pool construction Strong knowledge of excavation practices, grading, trenching, and site prep Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship Strong communication and teamwork skills Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs as needed Comfortable operating heavy machinery for extended periods Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments
