Excavator Operator/ Pipe Forman

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Excavator Operator/ Pipe Foreman to join our construction team. This role is vital in ensuring the successful execution of excavation, pipe installation, and heavy equipment operations on various construction sites. Responsibilities Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment with precision and safety. Oversee pipe installation projects from start to finish, ensuring proper placement and adherence to specifications. Coordinate with the construction team to plan daily tasks and allocate equipment effectively. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Assist in site preparation, grading, trenching, backfilling, and paving activities as needed. Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment for everyone on site. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are met efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators (including Caterpillar models), dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and horizontal drilling machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge of construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in operating large vehicles safely across construction sites. Demonstrated experience in construction site management or pipe installation projects. Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to piping and excavation work.
