We are currently seeking an Equipment Operator to work out of our Hobe Sound office. The equipment operator must have experience in operating dozers, excavators, grader, scrapers, loaders, skid steers, rollers mini excavator, fixed crane, pile driving and hydraulic hammers and other types of heavy equipment. Equipment is used to excavate load or move dirt gravel or other materials. Operate machines to spread, smooth, level, mill or steel-reinforce stone, concrete, or asphalt on roadbeds or other job sites. Operator may read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans and may grease adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment. Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair equipment and conduct pre-shift inspections. Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers or falling objects. Other duties as may be assigned. Follow safe practices and procedures. Operation from a barge is a plus. Additional skills in carpentry and framing is a plus. Valid Driver's License and must have a clean driving record CDL is a plus.
