has Immediate openings for equipment operators with 5 years experience in all aspects of construction grading and excavation. We specialize in construction grading and installing on -site drainage systems in the high end residential and small to medium commercial markets. You should be able to read plans and communicate effectively with co-workers and job-site supervisors. All candidates must have a clean driving history. You need a good attitude and communication skills. Hiring bonus being offered at this time. Heavy Equipment Operator As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a crucial role in the construction and maintenance of various projects, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise in operating a wide range of heavy machinery will be essential in moving materials, grading land, and assisting with site preparation. You'll be part of a dynamic team that values safety and collaboration while delivering high-quality results. What you'll do Operate heavy equipment including dozers, excavators, backhoes, and skid steers to complete construction tasks. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to execute project plans effectively. Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Assist in the setup and tear down of equipment at construction sites as needed. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery during operations. Basic qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation within a construction setting. Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs and maintenance on machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) for operating heavy vehicles-Optional. Familiarity with various types of heavy machinery including Caterpillar models, Bobcats, Kubota, and other construction-related equipment. Preferred qualifications Experience operating specialized equipment such as graders or other large vehicles. Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation. Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments.
