Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Loader Operator to join our dynamic construction team serving Miami Dade and Broward counties. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery to support various construction projects. Your expertise will ensure efficient material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation, contributing directly to the successful completion of infrastructure and paving projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team on challenging projects that make a tangible impact on community development. Responsibilities Operate loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling equipment safely and efficiently across multiple construction sites. Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other construction supplies with precision and care. Assist in site preparation activities including grading, leveling, and excavation to ensure proper foundation for construction work. Conduct routine inspections of heavy equipment to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before use. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and your team. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to coordinate equipment usage and project timelines. Maintain accurate records of equipment operation hours and material movement for project documentation. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment including loaders, excavators (such as Caterpillar models), dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Prior construction site experience in urban environments like Miami Dade or Broward is highly desirable. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles such as dump trucks or tanker trucks is preferred. Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols related to heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of various construction tasks including paving processes and water truck operations is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards. Join us in building the future! $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
