Loader Operator

About the role Samsula Landfill is looking for an experienced Loader Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to move, load, and manage materials across our active landfill site. The ideal candidate brings hands-on loader experience and is comfortable working in an outdoor, heavy industrial environment. Responsibilities Operate a front-end or wheel loader to move, load, and place materials on-site Ability and knowledge to burn and clearing of debris in designated areas Work alongside site crews and management to maintain efficient operations Perform pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment Follow all site safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines Maintain a clean and organized work area Report equipment issues or site hazards to the supervisor immediately Requirements Minimum 1 year of hands-on loader operation experience (required) Experience with debris burning and land clearing operations (strongly preferred) Ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a landfill or similar environment Valid driver's license required; Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong situational awareness and commitment to on-site safety Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented What we offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent, full-time hours Supportive team environment
