Job Description

Job Description:
We're looking for someone who can do more than just sit in a machine. This role is for a reliable, hands-on worker who can operate equipment and jump in wherever needed on a job site. If you're the type who stands around waiting for instructions, this isn't the job for you. You'll be part of a fast-moving team handling a variety of construction tasks. One minute you may be operating equipment, the next you're helping the crew on the ground. Flexibility and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable.
Responsibilities:
Operate construction equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and similar heavy machinery safely and efficiently Drive company trucks, including hauling equipment and materials with a trailer (must be comfortable backing and maneuvering) Load, secure, and transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites Assist with site prep including grading, digging, trenching, and material spreading Jump in on general construction tasks as needed—this is not a sit-in-the-machine-all-day role
Hands-On Construction Duties Include:
Assisting framing crews (lifting walls, setting trusses, cutting lumber, layout help) Supporting concrete work (forming, pouring, screeding, finishing, and cleanup) Using power tools and hand tools confidently (saws, drills, nail guns, compactors, etc.) Helping with demolition, debris removal, and job site cleanup Assisting with installations or repairs as needed across different trades Read basic measurements and follow directions to complete tasks accurately Maintain equipment and tools (daily checks, basic maintenance, keeping things clean and operational) Follow all safety procedures and help maintain a safe job site Work as part of a team to keep projects moving on schedule
Requirements:
Experience operating construction equipment General construction knowledge (not just one trade) Willingness to perform physical labor daily Dependable and shows up on time Valid driver's license (preferred) Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather
What We're Looking For:
Someone who takes initiative without being told every step Team player with a no-excuses mindset Comfortable switching between equipment and manual work Pride in doing the job right the first time
Work Location:
In person
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
