In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support infrastructure development, site preparation, and material handling. Your expertise will ensure safe, smooth operations on-site while adhering to all safety regulations and maintenance protocols. Duties Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers to perform tasks including excavation, lifting, loading, and transporting materials. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment like front loaders and forklifts to support various construction activities. Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Assist with site preparation by grading, digging, lifting heavy loads, and managing site logistics using hydraulic systems and hand tools. Operate specialized vehicles such as concrete mixers, farm machinery, or tanker trucks when required for specific project needs. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, inspections, repairs, and safety checks to ensure compliance with company policies. Qualifications Proven experience operating construction machinery including excavators, loaders,, bulldozers, and other heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and equipment maintenance best practices. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving; experience with concrete mixers or tanker trucks is a plus. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures, PPE use (personal protective equipment), and occupational safety regulations. Ability to perform routine maintenance on machinery using hand tools and basic mechanical knowledge. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with project workflows and material handling techniques.
