Job Overview Looking for
ROAD CONSTRUCTION / HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS
to join our team. Hands-On job local to Habersham and surrounding counties.
Duties:
Operate heavy construction equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and other road construction equipment with safety & knowledge. Assist with grading, drainage, site preparation, and road construction. Ability to load, move, spread dirt, gravel, asphalt and other materials. Perform basic equipment inspections and report any issues. Follow safety guidelines and work safely around others and equipment. Willing to help with general construction as needed as part of a crew.
What we are looking for:
Proven experience operating heavy equipment. Valid Drivers license. Experience in road construction, grading, excavating, or similar construction work. Familiarity with construction utility work, including utility locating procedures and excavation techniques Any required commercial driver's license (CDL), equipment certifications, or other applicable licenses are a plus and may be required depending on the job duties. Ability to operate loaders, excavators, backhoes, and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently Ability & dependability to work outdoors in different weather conditions. Willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a crew. We are willing to train the right motivated individual that is interested in pursuing a career in this field.
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
