Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Loader Operator to join our dynamic team in a mild paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently loading semi-trailers with MSW and C&D refuse materials, ensuring safe operation of the loader, and maintaining an organized and clean workspace. This role requires proficiency in operating a front-end loader and a strong commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the loading area to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues. Pre and Post shift inspections Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols. Assist drivers with loading and unloading operations and safety procedures. Keeping the working area cleaned up of wind-blown litter. Requirements Proven experience in transfer station and/or garbage environment is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Experience operating heavy equipment is highly desirable. Ability to wear PPE properly without constant supervision. Familiarity with materials handling processes and safety regulations. Attention to detail, communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 55.0 - 65.0 per week
