Heavy Civil Construction / Site Development Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Dozer Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating bulldozers in site development, grading, land clearing, road construction, and earthmoving projects. This position requires the ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship and adhering to all company safety standards. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate bulldozers safely and efficiently on construction sites. Perform rough and finish grading according to project specifications. Clear land, move soil, and spread materials as directed. Read and interpret grade stakes, site plans, and project layouts. Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation. Identify and report equipment maintenance or repair needs. Work closely with supervisors, survey crews, and other equipment operators. Follow all OSHA, company, and jobsite safety requirements. Assist with general construction tasks as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of dozer operating experience preferred. Experience with site development, grading, and earthmoving operations. Ability to read grade stakes and understand construction plans. Strong knowledge of equipment safety and maintenance procedures. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Preferred Experience GPS machine control experience (Topcon, Trimble, Leica, or similar systems). Experience operating additional heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, motor graders, or compactors. Knowledge of site preparation, road construction, and utility installation projects. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, climb, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekends as project demands require.
