Your Job Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator (CAT 988 Wheel Loader) to join our Lumber facility in Warrenton, GA! What You Will Do Operate CAT 966 and CAT 988 wheel loaders, along with a mobile high stacker, to unload log trucks, maintain log inventory, and keep the sawmill supplied with logs. Safely stack, organize, and rotate logs throughout the log yard to support production. Complete pre-shift inspections and monitor equipment performance, including startup, shutdown, and critical alarms. Perform routine housekeeping and preventative maintenance on mobile equipment. Submit maintenance requests using the electronic work order system when repairs are needed. Follow all environmental, safety, and operating procedures. Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors to resolve issues and keep operations running efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) At least one year of experience safely operating large wheel loaders or similar heavy mobile equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, mining, quarry, forestry, material handling, or distribution environment.
