Position summary: The Production Team Member is an integral part production department. Production Team Members operate manufacturing equipment in a high-volume production environment. The various types of manufacturing equipment operated can include: hand held equipment and tools, specialized manufacturing machines and equipment, powered industrial equipment including forklifts, and hand held measuring devices and equipment. Production Team Members are responsible for working in a team oriented work environment following company policies and procedures as well as supporting and upholding company safety and quality goals.

Role qualifications:

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Ability to meet customer demand in a timely manner

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining Inventory of Stored Steel Coils 2. Unloading/Loading Steel Coils 3. Breaking Down (unpacking) Steel Coils as requested 4. Promote and Participate in good housekeeping procedures 1. Maintaining Inventory of Stored Steel Coils

• Scan Coil locations as appropriate for fast tracking
• Assist with routine comparisons of system records and actual inventory 2a.

Loading Steel Coils Receive load orders Locate material according to the load orders, properly match the label information to the load order Inspect Overhead Crane according to Crane Inspection Policies Remove from storage area via Overhead Crane and properly load onto flatbed truck according to customer placement specifications Note material ready for shipment on the load order and inspect material for quality including damage (dents, scratches, rust) Notify the Quality Department for inspection of material Notify the Shipping Coordinator of any quality issues and make necessary changes Once loading requirements have been met, submit to Shipping Coordinator/Truck Driver for load documentation Goal is to load and ship out approximately 3-4 trucks per hour (depending on speed of driver to chain, tarp, etc.) 2b. Unloading Steel Coils

• Inspect Overhead Crane according to Crane Inspection Policies
• Inspect coils for poor quality including dents, scratches, rust, etc.
• Notify Site Manager immediately of any quality issues and request additional inspection.
• Locate an appropriate storage space
• Unload coil and scan label to note location for future retrieval
• Goal is to unload an average of 5
• 7 coils per hour (including proper storage) 3.

Breaking Down Coils (Unpackaging Imported and Domestic Coils) Inspect Overhead Crane according to Crane Inspection Policies Transport appropriate coil to breakdown area via Overhead Crane Remove banding, strapping and outer and inner steel rings using appropriate hand tools Physically dispose of waste material in trash bin and ultimately dump waste into outside receptacle via forklift Coil Breakdown process should take approximately 8-10 minutes once delivered to breakdown area. Goal is to break down an average of 5

• 10 coils in one hour (this includes locating coil, placing it in the breakdown area and returning to designated location)
