Job Description
Heavy Equipment Operator - Experienced Rittmer Inc. is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator. We are looking for a job-ready operator with a minimum of 5 years of real heavy civil/construction equipment experience. This is not an entry-level position, and we are not looking to train someone from the ground up. What You Need to Be Proficient In Excavator Dozer Skid loader / compact track loader Grading and earthwork Reading grade and understanding elevations Working safely and efficiently around other equipment and crews Daily equipment inspections and basic equipment care GPS / machine control experience is a strong bonus. What We're Looking For You should be able to show up to a jobsite, get in the machine, understand the work being performed, and produce without needing to be taught how to operate. Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience required. Warehouse, forklift, farm, or occasional equipment experience does not meet the experience requirement for this position. We are looking specifically for someone with substantial construction/heavy civil operating experience.
