Onsite/Remote:
Onsite Position ## Your Responsibilities As a Electrical Design Engineer for John Deere Small Excavators (SMX) located in Dubuque, IA, you will support the development of electrical systems for 5 to 9 MT small excavators. In addition, you willl:- Collaborate within a cross functional team to develop electrical designs that meet customer needs
- Support the design and print development for Small Excavator components within the product delivery process of new product programs
- Support physical builds, production launches, testing, and customer field evaluations VISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position ## What Skills You Need
- Experience in a Product Engineering Design environment
- Experience with product development processes
- Strong desire and ability to learn and apply electrical component design principles to ongoing design activities
- Demonstrated experience and ability to analyze technical data, consider multiple alternatives, and provide data-driven decisions/recommendations
- Knowledge of electrical components such as batteries, starters, alternators, switches, relays, solenoids, sensors, actuators, and connectors
- Demonstrated strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability and willingness to travel both domestic and internationally, up to 25% ## What Makes You Standout
- Familiarity with construction, agriculture, or forestry equipment
- Cross-functional experience related to verification, performance evaluation, software, and/or manufacturing
- Experience Capital Harness
- Working knowledge of John Deere product development
- Experience working with system requirements, electronic hardware, circuit design and analysis
- Experience with Vspy, CPS Test tool, Service Advisor, yED, and Matlab/Simulink ## Education
- Degree in Electrical Engineering discipline or related experience.
