TITLE:

HEAVY EQUIPMENT SEMI DRIVER

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in the Asphalt industry. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating several types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner to support the completion of roadways, parking lots, and other projects. This equipment may include, but is not limited to, asphalt pavers, excavators, rollers, front-end loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment. On-the-job training will provide the knowledge and skills to become a productive member of one of our crews. This role requires a strong focus on safety, precision, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as asphalt pavers, excavators, rollers, loaders, dozers, graders, compactors, and other pieces of equipment. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Load and transport materials, including asphalt, aggregates, and other construction materials. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and materials moved. Assist in other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Perform general labor duties as assigned, including site cleanup and assisting other crew members. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator or similar role. Familiarity with asphalt paving and base grading operations is a plus. Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to schedule changes as needed.

This is a Full-time Seasonal Position, working April through November (weather permitting). Average work days are typically 12-14 hours, requiring overtime and working occasional Saturdays. • Travel is required throughout the region, with occasional overnight stays compensated.

Additional Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years old. Must have Valid Driver's license. Class A CDL is preferred but not required. Pre-employment drug test and physical required. Adherence to company attendance policies to ensure consistent performance. Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with co-workers, customers, and the public. Compliance with all industry regulations and safety standards.
